"Tim the Tool Man" would have been proud enough to do his signature grunt today........still had some grunts though, from falling in the water, waders getting full of water, and everything else. A very manly day indeed, with big equipment and tools out trying to get this dock completed. If a real dock builder ever reads this, will probably scratch his head and ask where did we come from.....but that's ok....it worked. Finally, got all of the wood marine posts drove down in that lake floor, thanks to that yellow piece of equipment sitting on top of that post in the photo. It's called the RHINO PD200. Clever contraption, and a big save for people whom didn't quite know what they were doing, or getting into. Like I said, we're deck builders, never built a dock until now. Just grab yourself a bottle of vegetable oil, and an air compressor, and you too can drive some wood piers into a water bed with this equipment. Still not that easy though, and my hats off and admiration to the guys that do this on a regular basis. Will have more photos tomorrow of this project, and we start framing up the dock on Monday. So, please keep checking back because we've got all kinds of decks scheduled to show you as well, or give us a call for your free deck estimate!
