I'm loving the color scheme these homeowner's picked for their deck, and it really pops up against their home. This is a 19'x 16' deck with clipped corners, 2 sets of steps to grade and 328 square feet. The roof is a sloped roof profile with rafters and an LVL beam for support. The homeowner's chose Trex Transcend, Premium Tropical in the Tiki Torch color as their main deck floor, with Trex Transcend Premium Tropical in the Spiced Rum color as their triple picture frame border around the top perimeter of their deck, and Spiced Rum fascia trim on the perimeter bandboard. The black American Aluminum railing just gives it all a nice finished touch that's very eye catching. Very tempting to sneak out there one morning with my coffee cup :) If you would like to know more about these decking materials, call or email anytime to discuss or get a free estimate.
Recently renovated the existing deck for these customers, and is now a 20' x 16' deck with one set of steps to grade. Total square footage is 335. The existing frame remained, and we added extra blocking for the handrail support and for the picture framer border around the perimeter of the deck. The customers chose the Timbertech Earthwood Evolutions in the Tropical line called Pacific Walnut for their decking and fascia trim. They also opted for a more contemporary railing profile with the Timbertech Earthwood Evolutions Builder Rail. This railing has a flat top handrail with no post extending upward above the handrail. The top rail cap matches their decking boards in the Pacific Walnut as well, and gives it a smooth clean view from any angle. Upon the customer's request, we did install two permanent anchor posts for the hammock. The shade hits that side of the deck really nice, and wouldn't mind to chillax right there with a good book myself. Give us a call for your free deck estimate, and go by yourself a hammock!
