Got this Ipe' deck completed just in time for when the warmer weather starts coming around....if it does this year! Nonetheless, this brazillian redwood is absolutely stunning and this is raw Ipe'.....no oil or stain on it at all, and the wood is truly beautiful. The entire deck was constructed out of Ipe' with the exception of a couple of support posts. Those we wrapped in an Ipe' fascia wrap, but the railing is all Ipe' as well. Personally, I like a contrast when it comes to railing. This would have been perfect for the new cable railing or even some glass railing panels. Still beautiful though, and will be standing there for at least the next 30 years, if not longer. Tough wood, insect, rot and decay resistant, and well worth the cost.
Please keep checking back for our upcoming projects. Got quite a few lined up, and just waiting for the weather to cooperate. We can work out all of your design ideas and price, then get you scheduled for your new outdoor space! ![]() Still working on this Ipe' deck, and will soon have it completed, but couldn't resist showing everyone how beautiful this wood truly is.....this is brazillian redwood in it's natural state......no oil, no stain....nothing, and the hue is rich and deep. I love it, and little do these homeowners know that if I ever get the opportunity to crawl up there with my favorite coffee cup one morning, I will. Ipe' is pricey, but well worth the cost. It's naturally rot, decay and insect resistant, and this deck will still be standing in 30 years or more. Keep checking back for the completed project, or gives us a call for a free estimate. |
