![]() Just completed a Timbertech Earthwood Evolutions composite deck. The customers opted to keep their original framing from the previous deck, but it did need some beefing up. After installing some new framing members..joists, supports, and new 4x4's for the posts, we installed the decking floor in the Pacific Rosewood color, and then installed the Timbertech Radiance rail in the Traditional Walnut finish. Each post cap has a Timbertech cap modified for a light...so that's 11 post cap lights around the perimeter of this deck. Also, 3 stair lights were installed as well. Hope to get back out in the late evening and get a nice photo of the lights in use. All the products from Timbertech you see here are available at McCabe Lumber. ![]() Today we finished this Massaranduba wood porch and side deck. We will have a photo of the small side deck on here in a couple of days. This Massaranduba wood is straight from the Brazilian rain forest, and is known as the redwood cow tree. This is a very sturdy, durable, and long lasting wood, with a beautiful red hue. If the customers choose to stain/seal it, the wood will maintain this color, but if not, it will weather out to a silvery, gray petina. Azek PVC boards were used around the bottom perimeter of this porch to finish the look as well as to help with moisture damage. Both the Massaranduba exotic wood, and Azek products can be found at McCabe Lumber. Go visit our salesman, Rick Wedding at McCabe to discuss your porch and deck materials, and then call us for a free estimate. |
